Abstract

In solving math problems, especially HOTS-based math problems, students often have difficulty solving them. One effort that can be done to overcome students' difficulties in solving HOTS-based math problems is by describing the difficulties and factors that result in students having difficulty completing HOTS-based math problems based on Polya heuristic stages. The stages of Polya's heuristics in solving problems are: (1) Understanding the problem; (2) Devising A Plan; (3) Carrying Out The Plan (implementing the plan) and (4) Looking Back (looking back at the completion). The purpose of this study is to describe students' difficulties, the difficulties experienced by students in solving HOTS-based math problems and to describe student answers based on the Polya Heuristic Stages. The subjects in this study were class VIII-4 students of SMP Negeri 15 Medan, totaling 31 students. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach.

Abstract

With the current onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic, higher education institutions in most countries have shifted from the traditional to online mode of delivery. This study reports the findings of a survey examining the online teaching experiences of faculty members in HEIs and how the pandemic impacted the faculty work within the higher education setting. Participants consisted of selected faculty members from a local college in the City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. Findings reveal that there were various techniques and preparations employed by the faculty members in order to conduct an effective and efficient remote and online learning experience for their students. Remote online learning also offers faculty members more options for engaging instructional activities. It allows them to be more resourceful considering that they cannot meet in person with their students as with the traditional teaching mode. Despite the constraints and restrictions in conducting classes online, such as poor internet service, restricted contact between teachers and students, to name a few, most of the respondents, nevertheless, assessed themselves to be still efficient and effective as teachers.

Abstract

The use of paylater fintech is currently mushrooming among the public because it makes it easier for people to shop online. The typology of fintech paylaters is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method to determine the contribution of the magnitude of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) aspect in explaining the use of fintech paylaters. The study used a sample of 101 fintech paylater respondents who live in Jakarta and data analysis techniques used Tructural Equation Modeling (SEM-AMOS) with the First Order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) technique. The results showed that the contribution of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) aspects in explaining the use of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) respectively, namely Perceived Usefulness of 93.7%, Attitude Toward Using of 93.7 %, Perceived Ease of Use of 92.20%, Behavioral Intention to Use of 78.5% and lastly Actual Use of 43.9%.

Abstract

God created male and female in His image (Gen. 1:27). According to the image, it means that there is equality of men and women before God. In life, there are indeed differences in performing functions. The man as the husband becomes the head of the household while the wife becomes the helper. This difference aims for harmony and regularity in the order of life in the family. Recently, a feminist movement has fights for equal rights and opportunities between men and women. This movement is closely related to efforts to fight the domination, exploitation, and repression of an unfair system against women. This movement is closely related to efforts to fight the domination, exploitation, and repression of an unfair system against women. The gender equality movement tries to fight for balance, equality, and equivalence of the roles and/or responsibilities of men and women in things that are not natural, such as rights, opportunities, work relations between men and women. In the family, the wife is the co-heir of grace for a husband. The Apostle Peter warned, “Husbands, live wisely with your wives, as the weaker people! Honour them as co-heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered” (1 Peter 3:7). This study uses a descriptive qualitative method using a narrative study approach to Titus 2:1-5.

Abstract

Along with the dynamics and developments of the current situation, it shows that the existence of people's markets is increasingly left behind and unable to compete with supermarkets and shopping centers. The condition of facilities and infrastructure that is not good, internal institutions that are not optimal, services that are still traditional and changes in people's behavior that are increasingly modern are factors that make people's markets unable to compete with modern shops. Whereas within the scope of Javanese society, the power of economic activity is centered on traditional markets or people's markets. The people's market is not just a place for buying and selling, but more than that the market is related to the conception of life and socio-cultural interaction. The people's market is not only a place for economic activity, but actors can also achieve other goals, so it is necessary to provide protection for its existence. For this reason, the Bantul Regency Regional Government issued Bantul Regency Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2021 concerning Management of People's Markets. Researchers want to analyze what local wisdom exists in people's markets in Bantul Regency, and what are the Regional Regulations of Bantul Regency.

Bank health must be maintained and/or improved so that public trust in banks is always maintained. The size of the bank's assessment has been determined by Bank Indonesia, so that the bank is required to make regular or periodical reports on all of its activities. This research is a descriptive study with quantitative data types that aim to determine the level of soundness of the Bank using the RGEC approach (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, Capital). The indicators used to measure the soundness of banks in this study are: NPL, LDR, GCG, ROA, ROE, BOPO and NIM. This indicator refers to Bank Indonesia Circular No. 6/23/DPNP of 2004 and Bank Indonesia Circular No. 15/15/DPNP of 2013. The results showed that several indicator ratio values that had been accumulated became composite rating values (PK), there was an increase in composite values from 62.9% PK(3) in 2019, to 80% (PK 2 ) in 2020 and 82.85% (PK 2) in 2021. So that Bank BTN in 2019 in the "Healthy Enough" category will become a bank in the "healthy" category in 2020 and 2021.
